Our Story
SPARD Africa was founded on a simple but powerful conviction: strong agribusiness enterprises are essential for Africa’s economic growth, food security, and resilient rural livelihoods. After years of working within development programs, agricultural initiatives, and enterprise advisory, we recognized a persistent gap between strategy and implementation, evidence and action, and technical knowledge and enterprise growth. Too often, promising agricultural initiatives struggled to translate ideas into sustainable results. SPARD Africa was created to bridge this gap. By combining technical expertise in agricultural systems, enterprise development support, and rigorous research and evaluation, we help partners design practical solutions that strengthen agribusiness performance and improve the effectiveness of development investments.
